About WFSKO South India

The World Funakoshi Shotokan Karate Organisation South India (WFSKO SI) is a traditional karate organisation dedicated to promoting and developing authentic Shotokan Karate across South India. Inspired by the teachings of Gichin Funakoshi, the father of modern karate, WFSKO SI focuses on discipline, respect, self-control, character development, and technical excellence through proper karate training.

Our organisation provides a platform for students, instructors, dojos, and academies to learn, train, and grow together. At WFSKO SI, karate is more than just a sport or self-defense system — it is a way of life that builds confidence, leadership, fitness, and positive character while developing strong individuals both inside and outside the dojo.
